How to Watch Worlds 2026

Worlds 2026 streams free on the league's official Twitch channel — no subscription needed.

Four teams open in a double-elimination, best-of-five play-in, and its winner joins 15 directly seeded teams in a five-round Swiss stage where three wins advance and three losses eliminate. The eight survivors play a single-elimination, best-of-five knockout bracket through to the final.

The League of Legends World Championship, almost always shortened to Worlds, is the season-ending title event run by developer Riot Games. Teams earn their places through Riot's regional leagues and the Mid-Season Invitational, then spend roughly a month competing for the Summoner's Cup. Worlds has been held every year since 2011, and T1 have defined its modern era: their 2025 final win over KT Rolster in Chengdu made them the first team to win three titles in a row and gave the organization its sixth world championship.

The 2026 edition is the 16th Worlds and the fifth hosted in the United States, this time spread across three cities. The play-in is played at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, the Swiss stage, quarterfinals and semifinals move to the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, and the final on November 14 is staged at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It is the first Worlds final held on the US East Coast and the first international League of Legends event ever played in Texas.

The field grows to 19 teams. The LCK and LPL send four each after finishing as the two strongest regions at MSI 2026, which Hanwha Life Esports won. The LEC, LCS and LCP send three apiece and Brazil's CBLOL sends two, with the LCS and CBLOL competing as separate leagues again after the one-season LTA merger ended. Riot first scheduled the play-in for Allen as well, then moved it back to Los Angeles in March 2026, citing logistical challenges.
