VCT EMEA Finals 2026: Preview, Form & Who to Watch
Valorant's deepest region settles its season in Spain. The VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals land in the Barcelona area in late August, with a trophy — and the last tickets to Champions — on the line. Here's the form guide, with the caveat that the group stage is still being played as we write.
The EMEA Finals in Barcelona
The playoffs run August 20–23 before the Finals weekend at the Olímpic Arena in Badalona, in the Barcelona metro area, with the best-of-five Grand Final on August 30. EMEA fields 16 teams — 12 partner teams plus four from Challengers — split into two groups of six that feed a Play-In and then a double-elimination bracket. Beyond the $250,000 prize pool, the biggest prize is qualification for VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai. It streams free on twitch.tv/valorant_emea.

As of late July the group stage is only partway through, so the standings will shift before Barcelona. At the time of writing, per VLR.gg, FUT Esports led Group Alpha and Karmine Corp led Group Omega, both at 3–1 — but with games still to play, seeding is far from settled. Treat this as a snapshot, not a prediction.
Recent history
EMEA is Valorant's most internationally decorated region, and its recent domestic results run through the usual heavyweights. Team Liquid won the VCT EMEA Stage 2 title in 2025, beating GIANTX 3–0 in the final — so they arrive as the last team to lift this exact trophy. Fnatic, Team Vitality, Team Heretics and Karmine Corp round out a region that regularly sends multiple sides deep at international events.
